Monday-we need to get back on track, so today I need all makeup work completed for grades due on Tues.
Read chapters 11 and 12 of The Kite Runner by Wednesday. We also discussed the document below on Regret, Remorse and Repentance
On the board, I wrote that you need to keep the following in your notes (later to be used on test essay):
RECORD examples of parallel events in the novel.
RECORD examples of irony that occur by the end of the novel.
RECORD anything that strikes you as a reader, images, the diction the author chooses and how it influences you.
RECORD examples of literary devices that make the piece rich and add to its meaning for the reader.
USE YOUR notes on the test, too.

TUES- I will review in detail the quiz you took before break with the class; reading time is also a part of this class
WEDS- Discuss chapters 11 and 12, or if there is not much discussion in class, I will give a reading quiz this week soon, too.
Continue reading chapters, 13-15 for THURS; 17-20 for FRI.
FRIDAY will also be for discussion or for reading.
