Monday- New Vocab 9 intro of words. As promised, you get to see the rest of The Great Gatsby video. We also talked about how to get the best grade on the literary analysis: great intro, clear complete thesis statement, use of and bolding our vocab words, 3-4 well-developed pages with cohesive paragraphs that start with topic sentences that support what you say in your thesis. an apparent "read aloud" because you do not have "silly" errors, etc.
Tuesday- finish video
Wednesday and Thurs-Vocab-syns and ants; papers are submitted to and they are turned in to me as well.  LATE =20% off per day. Lesson on verbs and irregular forms of verbs.
I will introduce our new novel, To Kill a Mockingbird (TKM). We will continue with vocab and the novel on Friday as well. I will update for progress in the novel on Friday afternoon.
Friday-took grade for vocab; started TKM on Audible; finish reading 1-3 for homework. Yes, it is due by Monday.:>)
